Land or Topographic Surveys
A topographic survey measures the shape and features of a surface. Elevation or height data can be depicted by contours and data supplied in 2D or 3D.
The use of RTK GPS allows surveys to be accurately tied to National Grid & Ordnance Datum. This allows future additions to be readily related to existing mapping and the survey to be related to Ordnance Survey based mapping including land titles and water services.
Using Leica RTK GPS and Total Stations we can provide surveys based on a local grid, on Ordnance Survey National Grid, or to an existing network depending on requirements.
We offer setting out services from accurately positioning new buildings to setting out large wind farms.
Why get a topographic survey?
- A topographic survey is the basis of most successful construction projects from single house plots to large civil engineering projects.
- An accurate survey of your site can reduce the risk of unforeseen costs arising in projects during construction.
Surveys can be tailored to your individual specification or to RICS guidelines. Data can be provided in various formats to suit your requirements including .dxf, .dwg and .pdf.
