Difficult or remote access to water?
Using SonarMite Echo Sounder streamed to a GPS or total station controller with a GPS antenna and reflector mounted on a stable kayak allows us to survey difficult or remote water bodies that previously may have been too costly or challenging to access.
Calculation of Water Volumes
Accurately measuring the bed of a water body is essential to calculate the water volume. This is important on many projects such as hydro-electric schemes, monitoring dams and marinas and water volume of reservoirs determines the requirements for costly flood plans and annual dam structural inspections under EU legislation.
Photographic Surveys
Monitoring /Maintenance of Harbour Walls, Flood Defences etc Using kayaks we can obtain photographic condition surveys to allow structures to be monitored or maintained..
